FAQs

Our Process
Most of our ceramics are hand-thrown and fired 3 times up to 1260C.  We glaze after the 1st firing.  Illustrations are added between the 2nd and final turn in the kiln.  Being handmade, no two pieces are ever completely alike.  It’s the small differences that make handmade work so appealing.

Product Info + Care
Our ceramics are food-safe and lead-free.  Images are integral to the glaze and won’t fade over time.  Handmade ceramics love a little TLC. Please wash by hand and avoid thermal shock such as caused by use in a microwave oven.

Shipping
From our studio in Hythe Kent UK we ship to most parts of the world - usually within 24 hours of order receipt.  Smaller parcels are sent by Royal Mail, larger ones travel by Courier.
Estimated delivery time: UK 1-2 working days / International 3-10 working days.

Customs Charges
We have no control over and cannot be held responsible for customs charges/import taxes that may be applied by authorities in individual countries. These are the responsibility of the recipients. We suggest that these are investigated by buyers prior to placing of orders.

Returns
We take great care with packaging and breakages are rare.  Should it happen to you, please email us attaching photos of the affected item(s) and packaging within 24 hours of receipt and we will replace or refund as required.  The same applies, should you be unhappy with your purchase.  A £5 restocking fee applies. Unfortunately we cannot refund postage.

Custom Orders
As a rule, we are unable to accept custom orders. However, if there’s something you’ve set your heart on, please feel free to contact us to discuss.

Planet Love
We use responsibly sourced vegan-friendly materials and harvest solar energy to power our kilns.  The protection of our planet is important to us and we don't want any animal to suffer because of what we do. We reuse materials wherever we can and meticulously recycle all excess clay and glazes.
